Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ruslan Bronislaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rolf Spicer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bronislaw comes to the cage accompanied by On The Way Home, by Lykathea Aflame. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ruslan Bronislaw! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rolf Spicer! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Aleksandr Martynov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bronislaw shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Spicer as he jumps to the side. Spicer swinging wilding here.
Bronislaw gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Spicer tries to break the clinch but Bronislaw is controlling the position. Spicer throws a head punch that misses. Bronislaw breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Bronislaw throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Spicer counters with a series of strikes. Bronislaw will be more careful next time no doubt. Spicer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bronislaw feints and as Spicer raises his hands in defense, Bronislaw changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Bronislaw is breathing heavily. Spicer looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bronislaw is one step ahead there. Bronislaw tries to free his leg and advance position but Spicer is retaining full guard. Spicer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Spicer manages to escape and get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Spicer looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Spicer throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Bronislaw counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Bronislaw. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bronislaw wants to control from the top but Spicer keeps moving. Spicer pushes Bronislaw off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Spicer throws a right and a left that Bronislaw avoids nicely. Bronislaw shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Spicer counters with a series of strikes. Bronislaw will be more careful next time no doubt. Spicer misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

and Bronislaw counters with a nice kick to the body. Spicer lands with a nice combination. Bronislaw backs away looking to recover. A punch combination from Bronislaw misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Spicer misses with a double jab
and Bronislaw counters with a left and a right that stings Spicer. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Spicer's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Spicer duly obliges. Spicer stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ruslan Bronislaw. That's going to take a lot out of him. A bone on bone clash there as Bronislaw blocks the leg kick.
Spicer looks to land a combination but Bronislaw avoids it well. Spicer lands with a nice combination. Bronislaw backs away looking to recover. Spicer misses with a few strikes there.
Spicer throws a right and a left that both miss. Spicer scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Spicer misses with a takedown and Bronislaw counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Bronislaw is trying to control the action in half guard but Spicer is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Spicer regains full guard. Nicely done. Spicer keeping full guard, as Bronislaw tries to pass. Bronislaw is working hard here to advance position.

Spicer closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Bronislaw regains half guard. Bronislaw wants to improve his position but Spicer is controlling well.
Spicer is stalling here. Bronislaw is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Spicer seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Bronislaw has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Bronislaw has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Spicer is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Bronislaw yanks on the arm and Spicer is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Bronislaw.
