Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sandy Griffler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dean might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Gravemakers & Gunslingers. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sandy Griffler!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Lou da Vinci and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dean lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Dean.


It looks like Sandy Griffler has been cut.
Griffler shoots in but Dean avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Griffler shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Griffler trying to control but Dean is having none of it.
Dean's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Dean digs a right hand underneath Griffler's ribcage. Griffler let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Griffler changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dean tries to avoid it but Griffler manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dean to the ground. Dean escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Dean tries to close the distance and clinch up but Griffler swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dean, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
