Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Erin Melcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dre Winner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Winner tries to clinch but Melcher is having none of it. Winner swinging wilding here.
A good leg kick by Winner. Winner tries to clinch up. Melcher moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Melcher tries to work over Winner's front leg with a kick but Winner checks it. Melcher fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Winner, pushing him back against the cage. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Melcher drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Melcher has Winner pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Melcher pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Winner tumbling to the mat - Melcher dives into Winner's guard. Winner is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Melcher won't allow Winner to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Melcher controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Melcher has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Winner wants to stand up but Melcher is controlling him. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Melcher is looking to work some ground and pound but Winner has wrist control. Winner wants to stand up but Melcher is controlling him.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Melcher fails with the takedown. Melcher is breathing heavily. Winner lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Melcher moves in looking to clinch but Winner pushes him off. Melcher is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Winner. Winner throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Winner connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. A swing and a miss from Melcher. Winner will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Winner looks to land a combination but Melcher avoids it well. Winner closes the distance and pushes Melcher back into the cage. Melcher tries to pull guard but Winner holds him up against the cage and eventually Melcher drops back down to his feet.

Erin Melcher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Winner stalks Melcher and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Melcher's face. Melcher staggers backwards, shaken. Winner moves into the clinch. Winner takes an elbow to the forehead. Winner keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Melcher's efforts to push away. Winner is trying to force a seperation but Melcher has the dominant position. Winner is trying to force a seperation but Melcher has the dominant position. Melcher jumps guard but Winner stands there with Melcher around his waist. Melcher gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Dre Winner dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Melcher clinches but Winner breaks the clinch and Winner connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Winner wants to clinch. No luck with that takedown attempt from Melcher. Winner moves into the clinch successfully.
Melcher keeps control of Winner as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Winner wants to get back to striking at distance but Melcher won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Winner using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Melcher has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Melcher has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Winner down to the mat. Winner avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Winner throws a nice looking combination but Melcher bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Melcher closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Winner did well to prevent Melcher getting side control. Melcher stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Winner to get to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Winner tries for a takedown but Melcher sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Winner darts in trying to clinch so Melcher counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Melcher sitting in guard, not really doing much. Melcher is looking to stand up but Winner won't let him. Melcher gets to his feet. Winner looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Melcher tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Winner closes the distance looking to clinch and Melcher counters with a body kick. Melcher changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Winner tries to avoid it but Melcher manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Winner to the ground. Winner escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Melcher tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Winner swivels and escapes. Winner lands a nice shot to the body.
Erin Melcher has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Winner thuds a left hand into Melcher's body. Winner changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Melcher shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Winner pinned against the cage. Winner gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Winner throws a right and a left that Melcher avoids nicely.
And that's the end of the fight! Erin Melcher showed his dominance in that final round. I think Winner has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
