Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sebastian Hultmark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Winston Blau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Winston Blau struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Winston Blau will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hultmark misses with a series of wild punches.
Blau fails with the takedown.
Hultmark shoots and misses
and Blau counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Blau wants to pass the guard but Hultmark is keeping the position.
Hultmark looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Blau advances to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Blau seems to be looking for submissions.

Hultmark has one foot on Blau's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

and Blau counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hultmark's guard now.
Hultmark wants to stand and escape but Blau is having none of it.

Hultmark is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Hultmark is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Hultmark wants to stand but Blau has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Blau is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Hultmark jumps into side control!

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Hultmark stuffs the takedown attempt from Blau. Blau gets slowly back to his feet.

Blau jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Hultmark is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Hultmark and Blau has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Blau wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hultmark, who protects the arm well.

Blau has an Americana. Hultmark didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Blau is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Blau hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
