Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rich Nixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barney Stinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Rich Nixon has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Rich Nixon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Barney Stinson! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stinson moves in looking to clinch but Nixon pushes him off. Stinson ducks under a wild hook from Nixon. Stinson scores with a body shot.
Nixon tests Stinson's chin there with a solid looking shot. Stinson dodges the punch combination from Nixon.
Nixon misses with a straight right. Nixon circles away from the clinch attempt.
Stinson staying out of range there. Stinson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Stinson pushes Nixon up against the cage in a clinch. Stinson leaning his opponent against the cage. Nixon ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Nixon no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Stinson stopping the sweep attempt from Nixon.

Stinson pushes Nixon back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Stinson lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Nixon backwards. Nixon tries to pull guard but Stinson won't allow it.
Nixon is trying to force a seperation but Stinson has the dominant position. Stinson lands with a light punch inside. Stinson misses with a body punch.
Stinson lands a body punch. Stinson lands with a left to the head. Stinson lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Nixon is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Stinson lands with a light punch inside. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Stinson.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stinson lands a hook to the side of the head. Stinson stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Nixon is breathing heavily. Stinson stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Stinson scores with a shot to the side of Nixon's head.

Stinson's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Stinson receives a warning from the referee for stalling.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stinson scores with a shot to the side of Nixon's head. Stinson effectively controlling the action here. Stinson lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Nixon backwards. Stinson scores with a shoulder strike. Nixon tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Stinson just stands there and leans against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rich Nixon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stinson controlling the action here for a moment.

And thats the end of the round the fighters go back to their corners.
Barney Stinson dominated that round. The cut man is working on Rich Nixon's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Stinson blocks a jab. Stinson instigates a clinch. Nixon's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Stinson. Stinson scores with a nice hook to the head.

Oh Nixon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Stinson working aggressively here.
Stinson cracks Nixon with a nice body shot. Stinson swings wildly with an uppercut but Nixon uses good head movement to avoid it. Stinson pressing his opponent against the cage. Stinson doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Nixon seems to have got his legs back now.

Nixon wants a takedown but no success here.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Stinson stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Stinson lands a hook to the side of the head. Stinson holding his opponent close, against the cage.
The crowd are getting on Stinson's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Barney Stinson. Nixon misses with an uppercut. Stinson saw that one coming. Stinson closes the distance and clinches. Nixon tries for a takedown but Stinson manages to get underhooks.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stinson lands on the inside with an uppercut. Stinson has Nixon pushed against the cage. Stinson throws a punch but it's blocked by Nixon. A quick uppercut on the inside from Stinson. Stinson dips a shoulder and cracks Nixon with a mighty uppercut! Nixon falls back against the cage and Stinson unloads with a barrage of strikes! Nixon is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Stinson screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Barney Stinson!
