The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sims shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Canti's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sims avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Sims is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Canti has an active guard here but Sims has managed to pass into half guard.

Sims wants to control but Canti is keeping him busy.

Canti throws a shot from downtown. Sims moves away and avoids it.
Sims shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Sims was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Canti sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Canti makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Canti.
Sims in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Sims is in close to Canti's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Canti is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Sims rolls with it to try and escape but Canti cranks on the arm and Sims is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
