The judges for this bout are James Glass, Andrew Berry and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kivikorva shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Russel but Russel pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kivikorva tries to keep at a distance but Russel has taken the fight into the clinch.
Russel is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Kivikorva can't fight it off and eventually Russel manages to take the fight to the floor. Kivikorva looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kivikorva can't keep his opponent in guard - Russel advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Kivikorva is looking to get back to full guard here but Russel has managed to pass to side control instead.
Kivikorva tries to hold on but Russel pushes him away.
