Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Junior Padilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wilson Grey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Junior Padilla could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Wilson Grey's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grey closes the distance and clinches up with Padilla, looking for a takedown. Grey pushes Padilla against the cage but Padilla circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Grey dodges the punch combination from Padilla.
Padilla takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Grey moves out of range of the strikes. Grey ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Padilla moves away. Grey is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Grey throws a hook to the side of Padilla's head but Padilla sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Grey throws the left hand but Padilla avoids the punch easily. Grey throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Padilla was covering up waiting for the punch and Grey finishes the takedown easily into guard. Padilla utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grey scoring with punches to the head and body. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Grey postures up in Padilla's guard and throws a big left but Padilla blocks it. Padilla is adopting a defensive guard. Grey throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Grey has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Padilla looking to hit a scissor sweep but Grey is one step ahead there. Grey scoring with punches to the head and body. Grey trying to control the position from guard on top but Padilla is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Grey throws a strike but Padilla rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Grey is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Padilla looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Grey wants to get back to his feet but Padilla is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Grey pulls Padilla in close to prevent any damage. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Padilla working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Padilla drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Padilla wants to control but Grey is keeping him busy.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Padilla is looking to take a break and control but Grey is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Grey is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Junior Padilla dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Grey looks to throw the jab but Padilla is out of range. Grey shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Padilla leaves Grey with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. No joy there for Grey, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Padilla uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Grey. Padilla ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Grey might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Grey lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Grey has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Padilla steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Grey. Padilla shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Grey manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Padilla trying to control the position from guard on top but Grey is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Padilla avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Junior Padilla is winning the standup battle so far. Padilla throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Padilla throws a hook but Grey avoids it easily. Padilla has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Padilla ducked under it nicely. Nice jab there from Grey. Grey misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Padilla thows a body shot but no joy. Grey misses the jab. Grey gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Padilla. Grey on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Padilla looks to land a right hand but Grey moved out of range. Grey swinging wilding here.
Padilla misses with an uppercut. Grey saw that one coming. A telegraphed right hand from Grey misses the target. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close fourth round but I would say that Junior Padilla will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Grey takes a body punch but keeps moving. Padilla misses the body punch and Grey counters with a lovely straight right hand! Padilla throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
