Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Gary Drudge! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mad Hatter! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Sam Margolis and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Hatter with that takedown attempt. Drudge tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Drudge tries to clinch but Hatter is having none of it. Drudge fails with an attempt to clinch.
Gary Drudge seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Drudge lands a head shot. Hatter looks for a takedown but Drudge sprawls well. Drudge tries to clinch up but Hatter circles away and keeps his distance. Hatter avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Hatter shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Drudge as he jumps to the side. Drudge tries to clinch up but Hatter circles away and keeps his distance. Hatter gets the takedown into side control. Hatter lands some shots froms side control. Hatter is looking to take a break and control but Drudge is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Hatter staying calm. An elbow from Hatter crashes against the mat.

Drudge pushes Hatter away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hatter gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Hatter throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Drudge tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Drudge tries to clinch but Hatter is having none of it. Hatter keeps the fight on the outside. Hatter avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Drudge is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Hatter tries for a takedown but Drudge sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Drudge looks to land a combination but Hatter avoids it well. Hatter keeps the fight on the outside. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hatter avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Drudge manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hatter scores a takedown into full mount! A nice elbow there by Hatter. Hatter throwing strikes here but Drudge is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Drudge takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Hatter content just to control the position here. Hatter scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Drudge?

Hatter lands a nice shot to the head. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Hatter with a couple of short strikes. Drudge is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Hatter lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Hatter cracks Drudge with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Drudge defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Hatter. Hatter tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hatter breaks from Drudge's wrist control and lands an elbow. BOOM! Hatter connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Mad Hatter showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Hatter prevents Drudge from getting back to his feet. Hatter content to stall in guard here. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hatter scores a takedown into full mount! Hatter has control of Drudge's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Drudge regains control of the situation pretty easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hatter sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Drudge is trying to stand up. Hatter lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Drudge hang on? Hatter working the ground and pound effectively.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Hatter working the ground and pound effectively.
Drudge defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Hatter. You get the feeling that Drudge really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Hatter takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Drudge is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Hatter is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Drudge can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Drudge wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hatter landing punches. Drudge is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Hatter is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Drudge can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
And that's the end of the fight! Mad Hatter comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Hatter has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
