Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Easton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Burnside (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Burnside's choice of entrance music: Clipse - Money. Eddie Burnside has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Easton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eddie Burnside! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Burnside forces Easton back against the ropes and clinches. The referee is keeping an eye on Burnside - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Burnside creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Burnside. Easton is trying to break the clinch but Burnside has him pressed against the ropes. Burnside lands with a short head shot on the inside.
It looks like Mark Easton has been cut. A frustrated look appears on Easton's face as he tries to break the clinch. Burnside breaks the clinch.
Burnside closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Burnside in particular looking to stall. Easton is staying active underneath Burnside, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Burnside passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Easton! Burnside thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
That's one minute gone in the round. Burnside thowing shots but they're missing. Easton is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Burnside misses with a head shot. Burnside goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Easton is on top in guard.
Burnside is trying to control the position but Easton postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Burnside looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Easton has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Burnside trying to control the position.
Burnside uses the ropes to get back to his feet.
Easton throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Burnside sees it coming and avoids it easily. Burnside throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Burnside fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Burnside tries to clinch but Easton moves out of range. Burnside throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Burnside misses with an uppercut. Easton misses with a low kick. Some wild striking there from Easton.
Easton throws a nice looking combination but Burnside bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Burnside scores with a decent looking hook. Easton lands a jab to Burnside's midsection. Burnside fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Easton manages to avoid it. Easton is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Easton tries to bum rush Burnside with a series of wild strikes but Burnside uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Easton misses with a wild body shot. Easton smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Burnside gets the takedown into side control. Easton wants to get back to his feet. Burnside has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Easton is breathing heavily. Easton takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Burnside throwing strikes but Easton manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Easton working away. Burnside tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Easton wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Easton tries to get to his feet but Burnside is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with Easton in his guard. Burnside lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Easton! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eddie Burnside dominated that round. The cut man is working on Mark Easton's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Burnside scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Easton fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Burnside. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Burnside throws a hook but Easton blocks it. Burnside walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Easton lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Burnside looks to score with a jab to the body but Easton is just out of range. Burnside throws a big shot that misses. Easton just misses with a punch to the body.
Burnside fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Easton wants to slow Burnside down by chopping away at his legs. Burnside takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Easton misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Burnside holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Easton is looking to break free of the clinch but Burnside has double underhooks. Burnside's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Burnside misses with an uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Burnside avoids the body shot from Easton.
Easton uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Burnside. Good standup being displayed there by Easton as he connects with a hook. Burnside ducks right into an uppercut from Easton. Easton lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Burnside circles away quickly and effectively. Burnside misses with a hook. Mark Easton is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Burnside wants to clinch up but Easton keeps it at a distance. Easton lands with an overhand left. Mark Easton is winning the standup battle so far. Good shot there by Burnside. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Burnside tries to close the distance and clinch up but Easton swats him away and circles back towards the center. A slow jab from Burnside misses its intended target. Easton misses with a low kick. Easton needs to keep his hands up - Burnside had a free shot at his head there. Easton tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Burnside was well out of range. Poor timing from Easton. Easton pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Burnside just misses with a punch to the body.
Easton digs a good body shot into Burnside's ribs. Burnside closes the distance and clinches. This has been an exciting period of action! Burnside pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Easton slips under a jab. A left lands for Easton. A punch lands to the side of Easton 's head but he takes it in his stride. Easton uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Burnside. Burnside instigates a clinch. Burnside lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Burnside slowing the pace effectively. Easton escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Easton ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Burnside moves away. Burnside loads up on a big right hand but Easton slips the punch. Burnside slips under a jab. Easton bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Easton checks a low kick from Burnside. Burnside slips under a jab from Easton. Easton misses with a hook. Burnside ducked under it nicely. Easton missing with a left hand there. Burnside was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Burnside lands with a shot to the body. Easton has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Easton there as he acknowledges the shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Burnside closes the distance and pushes Easton back into the ropes. Burnside taking a breather. Burnside keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Easton's efforts to push away. The referee is keeping an eye on Burnside - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Easton looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Easton is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Burnside lands with a short head shot on the inside. Burnside's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Burnside breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Burnside waves his right hand out infront of him, looking to distract Easton. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Easton to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Mark Easton's cut is getting worse. Burnside chips away with some ground and pound.
Easton is rocked! Burnside scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Burnside's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Easton avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Burnside's corner. There ya go! There ya go! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Easton keeping moving, preventing Burnside from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eddie Burnside showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Mark Easton's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Mark Easton's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Burnside's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Easton throws a solid leg kick but Burnside takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Easton. Burnside takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Burnside swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A slow jab from Easton misses its intended target. A big left from Easton misses. Burnside finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Easton tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Burnside was well out of range. Poor timing from Easton. Easton gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Burnside to score an easy takedown into full guard. Burnside postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Burnside's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Burnside throwing strikes but missing. Burnside trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Burnside throwing strikes but missing. Easton is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Burnside is controlling him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Easton utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Easton keeping moving, preventing Burnside from controlling successfully.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Burnside looks to throw the jab but Easton is out of range. A leg kick checked by Burnside. Burnside has Easton up against the ropes in a clinch.
Burnside is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Easton pulls him back up using the underhooks. Burnside stalling against the ropes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Burnside scores with an uppercut up the middle. Burnside breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Burnside lands a right hook to the body.
Easton slips a jab and a cross from Burnside.
Burnside gets a clinch. Burnside pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Burnside takes one on the button. Burnside takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Eddie Burnside is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Burnside drives through with a takedown into guard. Eddie Burnside has got the better of the ground game so far. Easton working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Burnside. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Burnside wants to control from the top but Easton keeps moving. Burnside prevents Easton from getting back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Eddie Burnside. I've got Burnside winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
