Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Ivan Kurochkin and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ivanov.
Ivanov fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Rush is out of range.
Drake Ivanov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rush moves out of range of the strikes.
Ivanov forces Rush back against the cage and clinches.
Rush prevents Ivanov from breaking the clinch.
Ivanov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A head kick misses from Rush.
Ivanov tries to clinch there but Rush circles away.
Ivanov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rush as he jumps to the side.
Rush misses with a head kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ivanov blocks a head kick by Rush.
Ivanov throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rush moves in looking to clinch but Ivanov pushes him off.

Rush pushes Ivanov up against the cage in a clinch.
Rush wants to break free but Ivanov has control.
Rush wants to get back to striking at distance but Ivanov won't allow it.
Rush could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Still in the clinch, Ivanov scores with a nice short uppercut.
Ivanov scores with a shot to the side of Rush's head.
Rush wants to break free but Ivanov has control.
Ivanov prevents Rush from breaking the clinch.
Rush is fighting off a takedown attempt but Ivanov is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Rush to the mat. Rush regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Rush wants to get back to his feet but Ivanov is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Ivanov not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Ivanov working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Ivanov lands a couple of digs.
Ivanov tries to free his leg and advance position but Rush is retaining full guard.
Ivanov won't allow Rush to get back to his feet.
Ivanov forces his way into half guard.
Ivanov gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Rush tries a head kick but it misses.

Ivanov will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Ivanov tries to clinch there but Rush circles away.
Ivanov throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rush.
Ivanov looks gassed!
Rush moves in looking to clinch but Ivanov pushes him off.
Rush lands with a slapping head kick.
Rush throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ivanov looks to land a right hand but Rush moved out of range.
Ivanov fails with a takedown attempt.
Johnny Rush has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Drake Ivanov.
Rush throws a head kick that misses.
Rush tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

The fight stays on the outside here - Ivanov looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Rush swats away the attempt to clinch by Ivanov.
Ivanov misses with a straight left.

Ivanov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rush but Rush pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Ivanov gets caught flat footed, as Rush shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Ivanov is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Ivanov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Rush wanted to stand there but Ivanov had control of the position.
Rush has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Rush won't allow Ivanov to get back to his feet.

Ivanov has his foot on Rush's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rush works his way back into a safe position though.
Rush wanted to stand there but Ivanov had control of the position.
Ivanov seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Ivanov is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Ivanov frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Oh Rush is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ivanov avoids the head kick by Rush.
Ivanov scores with a leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ivanov lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Rush falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
