Neck comes to the cage accompanied by Rolling Stones - Paint it black. The crowd seem to be enjoying Sankari's choice of entrance music: SMC Hoodrats. Pencil Neck has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Neck, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sankari throws the kick towards the body but Neck avoids it.

Neck shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Neck showed some decent athleticism there.
Sankari wants to get back to full guard.
Neck performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Neck tries to pass to full mount but Sankari defends it.
Sankari gets back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sankari is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Neck defends well.
Neck trying to control the position from guard on top but Sankari is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Neck tries to free his leg and advance position but Sankari is retaining full guard.
Sankari looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Neck puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Neck is trying to work for a kimura but Sankari is defending well.
Sankari is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Sankari misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Neck is keen to just control but Sankari is a slippery customer.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Neck shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sankari sprawls well. Sankari wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Neck gets slowly back to his feet.
Sankari scores with a nice head shot.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Neck tries to clinch up.
Neck shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sankari as he jumps to the side.
Neck doesn't manage to clinch there - Sankari circles away.
