Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Quattro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirko Centr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Johnny Quattro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mirko Centr! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Hugh Johnson and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Centr looks to land a left hand but Quattro moved out of range nicely. Mirko Centr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Centr tries to keep at a distance but Quattro has taken the fight into the clinch. Quattro avoiding damage as Centr throws knees to the body.
Centr is pressed up against the cage. Quattro has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Centr down to the mat. Centr avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Centr tries to clinch but Quattro moves away and Quattro counters with a nice double leg into guard. Quattro scoring with punches to the head and body. Quattro decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Quattro throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Centr's waist but Centr gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Quattro off to one side. Centr closes the distance but Quattro moves to the side and Quattro decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Centr's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Quattro is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Centr wants to stand and escape but Quattro is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Quattro controlling from the top position. Centr wants to stand and escape but Quattro is having none of it. Quattro controlling from the top position. Quattro loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Quattro is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Quattro looking to pass the guard. Centr wants to stand up but Quattro is controlling him. Centr really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Quattro. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Quattro closes this distance looking for a takedown but Centr circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johnny Quattro. That's going to take a lot out of him. Centr misses with the combination.
Quattro moves into the clinch. Quattro jumps guard and drags Centr to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Centr wanted to stand there but Quattro had control of the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quattro has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Centr can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Centr being controlled here momentarily. Centr trying to stand up but can't free himself from Quattro's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Quattro has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Quattro has his foot on Centr's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Centr works his way back into a safe position though. Quattro has a closed guard, preventing Centr from standing up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnny Quattro dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Quattro avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Centr throws a head kick that misses. Centr closes the distance looking to clinch and Quattro counters with a takedown into side control. Quattro controlling the position. Quattro seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Centr for as long as he can get away with. Quattro's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Quattro working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quattro is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Centr will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Quattro trying to control the position but Centr is working away. Centr is trying to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Centr is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Quattro has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Centr closes the distance but Quattro moves to the side and Quattro counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Centr's guard now. Quattro stands up and waves to Centr to follow him. Centr darts in trying to clinch and Quattro counters with a nice double leg into side control. Centr won't be happy with that. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quattro prevents Centr from escaping the position. Quattro passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Centr! Centr wants to get back to his feet.
Quattro tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Quattro is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Centr has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Quattro lands a heavy elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Quattro takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Centr squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Centr in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Quattro pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Quattro controlling his opponent. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Centr squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnny Quattro dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Nice takedown defense from Centr. No joy for Quattro on that attempt. Centr closes the distance looking to clinch and Quattro counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Quattro moves into full mount! Centr won't be happy about that! You get the feeling that Centr really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Quattro controlling from mount. Quattro looking to finish Centr with some ground and pound. This is bad for Centr! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Centr really wants to buck Quattro off and get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quattro working for a submission but Centr is keeping him at bay. Quattro cracks Centr with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Quattro takes Centr's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Centr is in trouble. Centr is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Quattro just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A bit of a pause in the action here. Quattro controlling the positon. Quattro loading up with punches from the back mount - how long can Centr hold on?
What can Centr do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Johnny Quattro overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Centr looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Johnny Quattro is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quattro really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Centr. Centr is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Quattro biding his time, looking for the opening.
Quattro has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Centr! Can he survive? No! He's out! Quattro gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
