Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Durden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edric Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Durden comes to the cage accompanied by All Nightmare Long. Edric Storm has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyler Durden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Edric Storm!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durden shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Storm as he jumps to the side.
Durden fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Storm avoids it really well and circles away.
Durden shoots for a takedown but Storm saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyler Durden. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Durden tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Storm swivels and escapes.

Storm feints and as Durden raises his hands in defense, Storm changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Durden is breathing heavily.
Storm's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Durden trying to keep a closed guard but Storm is proving a slippery customer.
Storm is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Durden really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Durden looking for a sweep. Not yet Durden, not yet.
Storm throws a big right hand that misses.
Durden can't keep his opponent in guard - Storm advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Storm passes the guard and advances to mount!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Storm looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Storm has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Durden's face.
Storm connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Storm is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Durden has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Storm pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Storm content just to control the position here.
Storm scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Storm working for a guillotine from mount but Durden is in no mood to give up.

Storm looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Storm takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Storm's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Storm misses with an uppercut.

Storm shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Storm showed some decent athleticism there.
Durden won't allow Storm to pass to mount.

Storm postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Durden to stand up.

Storm shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Storm was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Durden is looking to get to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Storm controlling his opponent.
Storm prevents Durden from getting the reversal.
Storm controlling from the full mount.
Storm landing strikes, looking to finish!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Let's hope that Storm has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Despite being in the dominant position, Edric Storm just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Storm shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Edric Storm has got the better of the ground game so far.

Storm decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Storm shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Storm lands with a punch from half guard.
Storm working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Durden trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Storm manages to pass to mount!

Durden is trying to reverse the position but instead Storm has taken his back - oops!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Edric Storm showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!



Durden gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Storm throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Durden utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Storm pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Durden is keeping the position for now.
Storm is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Storm decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Storm decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Storm seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Durden wants to control but Storm is keeping busy.

Storm in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Durden tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Storm!
