Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Shogun Sherk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raz Jarfa Algoul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Shogun Sherk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Raz Jarfa Algoul! The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Algoul has closed the distance and engaged Sherk in a clinch.
Sherk tries for a takedown. No joy.
Algoul connects with a nasty looking knee right to Sherk's face.
Algoul lands a knee to the head.
Sherk tries to stall but Algoul uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Algoul's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Horrible takedown by Sherk or perhaps it was just good defense by Algoul which made him look bad. Sherk takes a kick to the side of the head. Algoul lands a jab to the head.
Algoul blocks a jab. Algoul misses with a straight right. Sherk closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Sherk goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Algoul rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Sherk's guard! Nice work there by Algoul! Algoul would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Sherk wants to sweep here but Algoul controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sherk is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Sherk tries to land a sweep but no joy. Sherk is looking for a triangle but Algoul pushes his legs off easily.
Sherk is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Sherk is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Sherk is working an open guard so Algoul takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Algoul throws a head kick that Sherk semi-blocks.
Algoul moves into range and clinches up with Sherk. Sherk misses with some punches.
Algoul is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Sherk tries to score a body lock takedown but Algoul shows good agility there to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shogun Sherk. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sherk tries to pull guard but Algoul holds him up against the cage and eventually Sherk drops back down to his feet.
Sherk's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Algoul manages to break the clinch.
Algoul moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Algoul gets a clinch. A short right from Algoul. A short uppercut from Algoul. Algoul breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Algoul tries to bum rush Sherk with a series of wild strikes but Sherk uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Algoul throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Algoul clobbers Sherk with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Algoul connects with a single shot there. Algoul lands a jab-cross combination. Sherk closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Algoul closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sherk to the mat! Sherk manages to get full guard. Algoul would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Algoul works over Sherk with some ground and pound from guard. Algoul gets to his feet. Sherk looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Algoul gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Algoul landing knees to the head.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Algoul pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Algoul drives through and clinches with Sherk against the cage.

Sherk takes a kick to the side of the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Algoul plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Sherk takes a kick to the side of the head. Algoul clinches up with Sherk and pushes him back against the cage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sherk tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Algoul's elbow. Algoul connects with a knee to the head.

Nice straight punches there by Algoul. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Algoul. Raz Jarfa Algoul seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sherk takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Algoul lands with a right hand. Algoul plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Algoul tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Sherk counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Sherk missing with the ground and pound from half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Algoul wants to control but Sherk is keeping busy.
Algoul is looking for a sweep. Sherk is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sherk not landing any meaningful shots this time. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sherk is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Sherk wants to pass to mount but Algoul is defending the position. Algoul is looking to improve his position.
Sherk stops Algoul from getting back to his feet.
Sherk really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Sherk gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Algoul to score an easy takedown into full guard. Algoul must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Algoul postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sherk tries to land a sweep but no joy. Sherk trying to control the position.
Sherk wants to sweep here but Algoul controlling him for the moment. Sherk has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Algoul can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Algoul moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Algoul lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Algoul throws a head kick that half lands.

Algoul shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sherk manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Algoul stands up from Sherk's guard - Algoul perhaps looking for a knockout. Sherk shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Algoul sprawls well. Algoul wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sherk gets slowly back to his feet. Sherk tries to clinch but Algoul moves out of range. Algoul throws a head kick that half lands.

Raz Jarfa Algoul showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Sherk takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Sherk looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Algoul is fending him off so far but Sherk persists. Nope, Algoul circles away and we're back to standing. Algoul throws a nice head kick!
A right-left combo lands from Algoul. Sherk fails in his attempt to clinch. A lazy left from Algoul finds it's target. Algoul lands a with a good body shot. Sherk moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Algoul lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Algoul pushes Sherk up against the cage in a clinch. Sherk tries to pull guard but Algoul holds him up against the cage and eventually Sherk drops back down to his feet.
Algoul gets through Sherk's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Algoul lands a left hand.
Algoul jumps guard and drags Sherk to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sherk won't allow Algoul to get back to his feet. Algoul is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Sherk jumps guard.
Algoul won't allow Sherk to sweep him here. Algoul gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Danga de danga de dang - Algoul scores with a four punch combination! Sherk gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Algoul preventing the sweep.

Raz Jarfa Algoul is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Sherk keeping moving, preventing Algoul from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Algoul wanted to stand there but Sherk had control of the position. Algoul stands up from Sherk's guard - Algoul perhaps looking for a knockout. Algoul rushes Sherk and presses him up against the cage. Sherk takes a knee right on the jaw!

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Sherk tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Algoul swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Sherk counters with a two punch combo. Algoul lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Algoul lands a slapping body shot.

Algoul scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Algoul bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Sherk's head. Algoul throws a left and a right that both miss
and Sherk counters with a nice double leg into guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sherk thows a big elbow that misses.
And that's the end of the fight! Raz Jarfa Algoul comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Algoul has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
