Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Randy Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Touchin Bungholz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Randy Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Touchin Bungholz! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Donald Grub and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bungholz changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Johnson tries to avoid it but Bungholz manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Johnson to the ground. Johnson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Bungholz shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Bungholz is working for a kimura but Johnson is defending it quite comfortably.
Bungholz wants to free his trapped foot but Johnson is holding on for dear life with his legs. Johnson is trying to stand up here but Bungholz is controlling him well. Bungholz is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Johnson tries for a takedown but Bungholz circles away easily and Bungholz counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Bungholz.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bungholz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Johnson swivels though and keeps the full guard. Bungholz drops back looking for a leg! Johnson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Johnson manages to kick Bungholz off! Bungholz jumps back into Johnson's guard. Bungholz wants to pass the guard but Johnson is keeping the position. Johnson wants to stand and escape but Bungholz is having none of it. Bungholz tries to free his leg and advance position but Johnson is retaining full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bungholz has gone for a leg lock! Johnson slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bungholz's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Johnson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Johnson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Johnson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Bungholz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Johnson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Johnson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Bungholz looks gassed! Johnson drops back looking for a leg! Bungholz is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bungholz manages to kick Johnson off! Johnson jumps back into Bungholz's guard. Bungholz looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Bungholz jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Johnson is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Johnson and Bungholz has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Bungholz tries to move to mount but Johnson blocks the move with his legs. Bungholz goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Johnson rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Bungholz's guard! Nice work there by Johnson! Johnson drops back for a leg! He'll be looking to tighten that up but Johnson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Bungholz tries to land a sweep but no joy. Johnson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Johnson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Bungholz is breathing heavily. Bungholz is looking for a triangle but Johnson pushes his legs off easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bungholz lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Johnson! Bungholz wants to finish this one by submission but Johnson is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Bungholz. Bungholz is trying to take his opponent's back.
Bungholz is going olschool here, as he tries to force Johnson to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Johnson shrugs it off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bungholz has control of Johnson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Johnson regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Johnson stops Bungholz from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Bungholz goes for an armbar but Johnson turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Johnson. Johnson drops back looking for a leg! Bungholz is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bungholz manages to kick Johnson off! Johnson jumps back into Bungholz's guard. Johnson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Johnson keeping full guard, as Bungholz tries to pass. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bungholz is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Bungholz is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Johnson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Johnson has escaped and now he's on top! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Touchin Bungholz showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Johnson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bungholz is just riding it out for now. Johnson eventually gives up the hold.
