The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woo misses with a takedown attempt - Nguyen sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Nguyen slaps away a takedown attempt from Woo, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Nguyen keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
It looks like Mr Woo has been cut.

Woo has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Nguyen is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Woo yanks on the arm and Nguyen is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Woo.
