Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Masahiro Yamamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaime Guttierez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Masahiro Yamamoto looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Masahiro Yamamoto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jaime Guttierez! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Guttierez lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Yamamoto is defended easily by Guttierez. Masahiro Yamamoto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Guttierez clinches with his opponent.
Guttierez gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Yamamoto regains guard.
Yamamoto is breathing heavily. Guttierez sitting in guard, not really doing much. Guttierez stands and steps away. Yamamoto gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Guttierez shoots for a double leg takedown but Yamamoto sprawls well. He's pushed Guttierez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Yamamoto with a poor takedown and Guttierez counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Guttierez gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Yamamoto regains guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Guttierez content to stall in guard here. Guttierez pushing down on Yamamoto's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Guttierez with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Guttierez's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yamamoto punching from the bottom.
Guttierez content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Yamamoto has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Guttierez escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Guttierez! Guttierez takes a little break here. Yamamoto wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. You can see the frustration on Yamamoto's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Guttierez working the ground and pound. Yamamoto can't do much from the bottom here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Guttierez is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Yamamoto looks calm but he's in trouble here. Guttierez gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Yamamoto is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Guttierez lets go of the hold and Yamamoto can pop his arm back in it's socket.
