PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Battling Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bob's entrance music is Ace of Base - Beautiful Life. A fine choice. Victor Belfort struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 188.0lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Victor Belfort will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Belfort gets caught flat footed, as Bob shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Belfort looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Bob is working Belfort over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Bob drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Bob as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Belfort screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Bob! Nice submission victory there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Battling Bob!
