Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frank Rutt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kristian Breddam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rutt kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Underdog. Kristian Breddam has the eye of the tiger tonight.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Frank Rutt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Kristian Breddam! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Richard Clark and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rutt misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. A combination from Breddam does no damage. Rutt has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Rutt avoids a punch combination nicely.
Rutt fails with the takedown. Breddam keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Rutt. That's going to take a lot out of him. Breddam fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Breddam misses with a looping left. Breddam lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rutt circles away quickly and effectively. Breddam moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Frank Rutt has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rutt fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Breddam avoids it really well and circles away. Rutt fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Breddam throws a series of punches but Rutt avoids them all with ease. Breddam fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rutt manages to avoid it. Breddam checks a leg kick. Breddam throws a half hearted mid kick. Breddam scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Breddam pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Breddam cracks Rutt with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Breddam misses with a few strikes there.
Nice sprawl there from Breddam as Rutt shoots in. Rutt looks for a takedown but Breddam sprawls well. Breddam connects with a crisp jab. Breddam cracks a nice hook into Rutt's ribs. Breddam lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Breddam throws a head kick but Rutt moves out of range.
Rutt slips a jab and a cross from Breddam.
Breddam misses with a double jab.
No luck for Rutt with that takedown attempt. Rutt is breathing heavily. Breddam rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rutt moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kristian Breddam is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Breddam throws a series of punches but Rutt avoids them all with ease. Rutt is trying hard to land a takedown here. Breddam sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Rutt shoots in but no luck this time. Breddam misses with a series of wild punches.
Breddam tries to bum rush Rutt with a series of wild strikes but Rutt uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Breddam throws a right hand that Rutt ducks under and follows up with a left that Rutt also avoids with ease. Breddam misses with a double jab.
Breddam looks to land a body kick but Rutt moved away. Rutt chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Breddam can pounce on him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Breddam takes one to the chin there. Breddam paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Rutt. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Rutt throws a hook but Breddam blocks it. Breddam throws a lazy right hand but Rutt sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Breddam throws a leg kick which misses Rutt's front leg but catches the back leg as Rutt tries to avoid it. Breddam delivers a nice body kick. Rutt takes a swing at Breddam's ribcage but misses. Rutt swings away with a body shot that misses
and Breddam counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Rutt throws a jab when Breddam was well out of range. Breddam looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Rutt dives in and grabs Breddam's left leg, looking for a takedown. Breddam pushes down on Rutt's head and hops out.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Rutt shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Breddam tries to land a sweep but no joy. Breddam is looking to stand up but Rutt isn't so interested in that idea. Breddam wants to sweep but no luck.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Breddam pulls Rutt in close to his closed guard and prevents Rutt from doing any damage or advancing position. Rutt stands up over Breddam, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Rutt throwing strikes but missing. Breddam wants to stand up but Rutt is controlling him. Rutt loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Breddam can do anything to dispel that myth. Rutt postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Breddam is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Rutt, into his guard.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Breddam slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Breddam tries to stand but Rutt is controlling from the bottom. Rutt looking to hit a scissor sweep but Breddam is one step ahead there.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Rutt lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Breddam! Breddam can't escape the position.
Rutt connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Rutt lands a big elbow. Rutt with a couple of short strikes. Breddam is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Rutt goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Breddam turns into him and now he's in Rutt's guard.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Breddam wanted to stand there but Rutt had control of the position. Rutt is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Breddam defends well. Rutt has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Rutt keeping moving, preventing Breddam from controlling successfully.
And that's the end of the fight! Kristian Breddam comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Breddam has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
