Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Concrete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Pasqualli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pasqualli has chosen Ball Tongue by Korn as his entrance music. Pete Pasqualli acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Pete Pasqualli! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Richard Clark and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pasqualli stuffs the takedown. Concrete has managed to clinch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Pasqualli. Concrete does a little dance to reset his feet. Concrete showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Pasqualli.
Concrete scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Pasqualli wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Concrete tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Concrete is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Concrete seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Pasqualli for as long as he can get away with. Concrete postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
That's one minute gone in the round. Concrete remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Concrete thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Pasqualli is pushing Concrete's head away, looking to escape. Concrete manages to hold on to the position though. Concrete is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Pasqualli knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Concrete controlling the position. Pasqualli really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Concrete. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Concrete tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Pasqualli tries to improve position but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Pasqualli is trying to control Concrete's posture but Concrete avoids it. Concrete prevents Pasqualli from escaping the position. Pasqualli is looking to reverse the position. Pasqualli is not content to let Concrete control the position. Concrete decides to take the fight back to the feet. Concrete closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Pasqualli did well to prevent Concrete getting side control. Concrete looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Concrete is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Concrete is breathing heavily.

Concrete is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Pasqualli is just riding it out for now. Concrete eventually gives up the hold. Concrete is looking for a kimura but Pasqualli is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Concrete to get the leverage.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Pasqualli throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Concrete stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Pasqualli tries to bum rush Concrete with a series of wild strikes but Concrete uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Pete Pasqualli is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Pasqualli lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Concrete at a distance.
Pasqualli lands a with a good body shot. Pasqualli tries to clinch but Concrete moves out of range. Pasqualli gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Pasqualli manages to break the clinch.
Pasqualli scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Pasqualli throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Concrete looks to throw the jab but Pasqualli is out of range. Concrete avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Concrete circles away from the clinch attempt and Concrete counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Concrete. Pasqualli will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Concrete trying to control the position from guard on top but Pasqualli is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Concrete drops back looking for a leg! Pasqualli is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pasqualli manages to kick Concrete off! Concrete jumps back into Pasqualli's guard.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Concrete wants to pass the guard but Pasqualli is keeping the position. Concrete trying to control the position from guard on top but Pasqualli is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Concrete tries to free his leg and advance position but Pasqualli is retaining full guard. Concrete won't allow Pasqualli to get back to his feet. Pasqualli is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. A big right from Concrete misses. Pete Pasqualli seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pasqualli throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Pasqualli tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Concrete was well out of range. Poor timing from Pasqualli. Pasqualli swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Pasqualli wants to hold on but Concrete pushes him away. A nice elbow there by Concrete. Concrete goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Pasqualli is on top in guard.

Pasqualli would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Pasqualli throws a strike but Concrete rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Pasqualli tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Concrete postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Concreteis looking to pass into half guard but Pasqualli pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Pasqualli is in guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pasqualli accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Concrete looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pasqualli is one step ahead there. Concrete is controlling Pasqualli's posture. Pasqualli wants to stand but Concrete is controlling his posture from full guard. Concrete trying to control the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Concrete tries for a takedown but Pasqualli sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. No joy there for Pasqualli, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Concrete drives through with a takedown into guard. Concrete wants to control from the top but Pasqualli keeps moving. Concrete postures up and lands a big shot to Pasqualli's brow. Concrete trying to control the position from guard on top but Pasqualli is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Concrete trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Pasqualli wants to stand but Concrete is controlling the position. Pasqualli looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
