Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tang Kufung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samvais gamgi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kufung comes to the cage accompanied by ON BOOT STREET. gamgi is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Cowboys from hell. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Ren Mimura and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kufung closes the distance and clinches.
Kufung breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kufung moves out of range of the body kick.
gamgi throws a right and a left that Kufung avoids nicely.
Kufung doesn't manage to clinch there - gamgi circles away.
Kufung looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Kufung avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kufung blocks a head kick by gamgi.
Kufung closes the distance and clinches up with gamgi, looking for a takedown. Kufung pushes gamgi against the cage but gamgi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kufung shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has gamgi pinned against the cage. gamgi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Kufung has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
gamgi fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kufung darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

gamgi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kufung. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kufung is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Kufung works his way into full mount!
Kufung jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but gamgi manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Kufung has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Kufung throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kufung goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, gamgi rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Kufung's guard! Nice work there by gamgi!
gamgi has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Kufung is proving hard to escape from.

Kufung wants to sweep but no luck.
Kufung had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. gamgi is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Kufung Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take gamgi's back instead.
gamgi is having to fend off submission attempts from Kufung, who is looking to sink in the choke. Kufung doesn't have the hooks in though and gamgi manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.
Kufung is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kufung is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
