Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Manny Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Dahlquist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Santos's entrance music is Empire State Of Mind. A fine choice. Dahlquist has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos shoots for a takedown but Dahlquist saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Santos fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Dahlquist throws a nice looking combination but Santos bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Dahlquist throws a right and a left that Santos avoids nicely.
Santos tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dahlquist sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Santos somewhat.
Dahlquist tries to close the distance and clinch but Santos swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Santos shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dahlquist sprawls well. Dahlquist wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Santos gets slowly back to his feet.
Santos dives in and grabs Dahlquist's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dahlquist pushes down on Santos's head and hops out.
