Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eric Craun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mickey Mouse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Craun's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Pussy Money Weed. Eric Craun could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Mickey Mouse's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eric Craun!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mickey Mouse!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Craun fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Mouse throws a head kick that half lands.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Mouse.
Craun is breathing heavily.
Mouse throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mouse lands a high kick!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Craun keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Mouse connects with a high kick.
Mickey Mouse seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mouse pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nice takedown defense from Craun. No joy for Mouse on that attempt.
Mouse fails with the takedown

and Craun holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Eric Craun has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mickey Mouse.
Mouse wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Mouse wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Craun has him pressed against the cage.
Craun prevents Mouse from breaking the clinch.

Craun has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Mouse uses from the top position.

Mouse really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Craun. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Craun is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mouse is controlling him.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Mouse won't allow Craun to sweep him here.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Mouse shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Craun napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Craun wants to control but Mouse postures up.
Craun is looking for a sweep.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Craun seems a little lost for a moment, as Mouse dominates the positioning.
Craun sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Craun trying to control from the bottom.
Craun is trying to get back to full guard.
Craun looks like he's trying to stand up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mickey Mouse dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Craun shoots for a takedown but Mouse saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
A head kick from Mouse lands but Craun takes it in his stride.

and Craun counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mouse won't be happy with that.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Craun wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mouse keeps working.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mouse can do anything to dispel that myth.
Craun throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Craun wants to control but Mouse is keeping him busy.
Craun is really struggling to control Mouse but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Eric Craun just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Mouse throws a head kick but Craun moves out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Craun stuffs the takedown.
Craun shoots in for a double leg but Mouse sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Mouse gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Craun moves into the clinch.
Eric Craun has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mickey Mouse.
Craun tries to pull guard but Mouse holds him up against the cage and eventually Craun drops back down to his feet.
Mouse avoids a wild elbow strike from Craun.
Mouse can't break the clinch.
Mouse wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Craun tries to pull guard but Mouse won't allow it.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Craun creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Craun lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Craun escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mouse misses with a takedown

and Craun counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Craun trying to control but Mouse is working from the bottom.
Craun slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Craun decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Craun will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Mouse looks for a takedown but Craun sprawls well.
Mouse shoots in for a takedown but Craun shows good takedown defense.
Mouse fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Craun.
Craun shoots in for a takedown but Mouse shows good takedown defense.
Craun tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mouse sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Craun somewhat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eric Craun dominated that second round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


Mouse throws a sloppy head kick and Craun moves out of range easily.
Mouse shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Craun defends it nicely.
Mouse misses with a kick to the body.
Mouse lands with a slapping head kick.
Mouse misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Craun blocks a head kick by Mouse.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mouse avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Craun looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mouse is fending him off so far but Craun persists. Nope, Mouse circles away and we're back to standing.
Craun throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mouse's waist but Mouse gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Craun off to one side.
Mouse throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Mouse misses with a head kick.
Craun avoids the body shot from Mouse.
Craun shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mouse pinned against the cage. Mouse gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eric Craun. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Craun moves into the clinch.
Mouse is looking to break free of the clinch but Craun has double underhooks.
Craun tries to break free but Mouse pushes him back against the cage.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Craun.
Craun misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Mouse.
Craun misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Mouse is looking to break free of the clinch but Craun has double underhooks.
Mouse wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Craun has him pressed against the cage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Craun using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Mouse has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Craun is trying to drag Mouse to the mat but Mouse just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Craun tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Mouse's elbow.
Craun jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mouse walks away with a smile on his face. Craun gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Mouse gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Craun counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mouse won't be happy with that.
Craun wants to control but Mouse is keeping him busy.
Craun is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Mouse is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mouse avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Craun.

Craun tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Craun has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Mouse is not content to let Craun control the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Craun thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
