Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marlo Mouzone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arilius Maximus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arilius Maximus will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marlo Mouzone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Arilius Maximus!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mouzone throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mouzone gets the takedown into side control.
Mouzone tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Mouzone is trying to ground and pound but Maximus uses the momentary lack of control by Mouzone to regain half guard.
Mouzone has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Mouzone throws a strike but Maximus avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Mouzone throws a jab when Maximus was well out of range.
No joy there for Maximus, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mouzone drives through with a takedown into guard.
Mouzone won't allow Maximus to sweep him here.
Mouzone stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Maximus swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Mouzone works his foot free and advances to mount.
Mouzone lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
It looks like Arilius Maximus has been cut.
Mouzone breaks from Maximus's wrist control and lands an elbow.

That has opened up Arilius Maximus's cut even more.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mouzone goes for an armbar but Maximus turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Maximus.
Maximus wants to control from the top but Mouzone keeps moving.

Mouzone working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Maximus doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Maximus manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Maximus must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Mouzone had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Maximus defends it easily.
Mouzone has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Maximus is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Mouzone throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Maximus works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Mouzone loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Mouzone keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Maximus's head.
Maximus has momentary wrist control but Mouzone slips an elbow through the middle.
Mouzone is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Mouzone is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Maximus doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mouzone.

Arilius Maximus's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Arilius Maximus's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Marlo Mouzone!
