And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kimura misses with a wild combination.
Kimura closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kimura lands in his opponent's guard.
Deep had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Kimura is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Deep Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Kimura's back instead.

Deep is trying to stick to Kimura's back but Kimura is turning into Deep. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Deep's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Kimura.

Deep is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Kimura frees his head nicely. Oh but Deep has switched to an armbar! Kimura is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
