Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Greg Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hoshi Tanaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Evans kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Everybody Down. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Greg Evans!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hoshi Tanaka!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanaka slips a jab and a cross from Evans.
Evans misses with a series of wild punches.
Evans misses with the combination.
Tanaka tries for a takedown but Evans sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Tanaka tries to score a power double leg takedown but Evans sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tanaka somewhat.
Tanaka will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Greg Evans has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hoshi Tanaka.
Evans lands a with a good body shot.
Tanaka gets cracked there but stands up to it.
It looks like Hoshi Tanaka has been cut.
Evans connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Tanaka tumbling to the canvas! Evans pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Tanaka was done - good stoppage!
