Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mayato Sakurai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimbo Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mayato Sakurai has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Slice is defended easily by Sakurai.
Sakurai closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Slice is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Sakurai off and has taken his back!
You can see the frustration on Sakurai's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Sakurai rolls, trying to escape but Slice keeps control of the position.

Sakurai is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Slice is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Slice is trying to maintain the position but Sakurai is very close to passing his half guard.

and Sakurai counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Slice's guard now.

Sakurai is working to avoid the ground and pound but Slice connects with a decent elbow.
Slice cracks Sakurai with a big right hand but Sakurai just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Sakurai defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Slice.
Sakurai tries to lock up and control but Slice gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

BOOM! Slice connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Slice wants to finish this one by submission but Sakurai is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Slice.

Slice wants to stand but Sakurai has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

A close second round but Kimbo Slice will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Sakurai shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mayato Sakurai.
Well Slice has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
