Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frank Da La Rosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Da La Rosa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luke Johnson!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Da La Rosa shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Johnson but Johnson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Da La Rosa fails with the takedown.
Da La Rosa attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Johnson misses with a series of wild punches.

Da La Rosa shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Da La Rosa working for a submission but Johnson is keeping him at bay.
Johnson is looking to improve his position but Da La Rosa isn't that keen on the idea.
Johnson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Da La Rosa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Johnson wants to hold on but Da La Rosa pushes him away.

Da La Rosa is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Johnson is surviving well by controlling Da La Rosa's body position as best he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Da La Rosa has control of Johnson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Johnson regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Da La Rosa unloads with some shots from mount but Johnson bucks and avoids them well.

Da La Rosa is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Johnson can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Johnson wants to control but Da La Rosa is having none of it.

Da La Rosa swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Johnson is now in Da La Rosa's guard. A big mistake from Da La Rosa there, giving up the dominant position!

Da La Rosa shoots in for a takedown but Johnson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Johnson lands a nice hook to Da La Rosa's body. Da La Rosa takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Johnson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Da La Rosa doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Da La Rosa manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Johnson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
