Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steven Glass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mohammad Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 1, fighting out of London, Steven Glass!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Mohammad Ali!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Steven Brown and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glass stuffs the takedown.
Glass fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Glass shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ali napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Ali looks gassed!
Ali can't do much from the bottom here.
The ground and pound from Glass seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Glass thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Glass decides to stand back up. Glass steps back and let's Ali get back to his feet.
Ali ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Glass moves away.

and Ali counters by clinching up.

Glass has Ali pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Glass pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Ali tumbling to the mat - Glass dives into Ali's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Glass works over Ali with some ground and pound from guard.

Glass drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Glass jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Glass slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Ali.
Glass uses his free foot to push down on Ali's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Ali.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Glass misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Glass punching from mount but Ali doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Ali wants to hold on but Glass pushes him away.
Glass is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Ali regains half guard.
Ali really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Glass. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Glass seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ali does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Glass is pressing down on Ali's thigh, looking to free his foot. Ali is holding on for now.

Glass is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Ali has managed to free his arm - good work.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Ali is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Glass trying to control the action but Ali is working from the bottom.
Glass missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Glass passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Ali!
Glass prevents Ali from getting the reversal.

Glass has control of Ali's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Ali regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Glass stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.

Ali tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

and Ali counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Ali.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steven Glass. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Glass tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Ali is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Ali can't get the takedown.
Glass fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Glass gets control of Ali's arms and successfully pulls guard. Glass will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Glass is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ali defends well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ali wants to control from the top but Glass keeps moving.
Glass thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Glass has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Ali tries to free his leg and advance position but Glass is retaining full guard.

Glass is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Ali is staying active underneath Glass, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Ali won't allow Glass to pass to mount.

Glass is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Glass wants to advance to full mount but Ali doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

Glass postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Glass gets to his feet. Ali looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Glass drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Glass keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Ali's head.
Glass is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Glass drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ali manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Glass has Ali in his guard.

Glass had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Ali is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Glass Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Ali's back instead.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Glass passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Ali!
Glass is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Ali can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Glass jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Ali is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Ali and Glass has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Glass tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Glass fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Glass with shots to the head and body - Ali looks very uncomfortable down there.
Glass wants to control the pace but Ali is squirming around nicely.

Glass with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Steven Glass overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Glass jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Ali manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Glass is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ali knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Glass wants to finish this one by submission but Ali is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Glass.

And that's the end of the fight!
Steven Glass showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Glass, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
