Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Robert Eins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Dweller! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, William Gold and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Eins misses with a looping left. Dweller moves out of range of the body kick. Eins takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Eins lands a jab to the nose. Dweller fails with an attempt to clinch.
Dweller moves forwards but Eins connects with a nice, crisp jab. Dweller fails in his attempt to clinch. Dweller checks a leg kick. Dweller throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Eins feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Dweller's calf. Eins connects with a crisp jab. Dweller takes one on the button. Eins misses with a straight left. Dweller on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Dweller is rocked! Eins throws a hook but Dweller avoids it easily. Dweller is still on wobbly legs! Can Eins finish him? Eins misses with a looping left. Eins misses with a hook. Dweller blocks a jab. The fight stays on the outside here - Dweller looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Eins throws a hook to the side of Dweller's head but Dweller sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Eins throws a hook but Dweller avoids it easily. Eins throws a hook to the side of Dweller's head but Dweller sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Dweller seems to have recovered his senses. Dweller fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Eins, pushing him back against the cage. Eins breaks from the clinch.
Dweller misses with a low kick.
Dweller tries for a takedown but Eins sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Dweller doesn't manage to clinch there - Eins circles away.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Eins has cracked Dweller with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Eins lands another huge swinging hook and Dweller tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Dweller, before Eins can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Robert Eins!
