Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roy Peters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sid Bristol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peters's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Sid Vicious - My Way. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Roy Peters!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sid Bristol!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Eliza Hachem and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peters takes a jab right on the kisser.
A punch lands to the side of Peters 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Bristol's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Bristol duly obliges.
Bristol uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Peters.
Peters misses with a straight right.

Peters fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bristol sprawls well initially but Peters persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Bristol escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Peters gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Peters got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bristol has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Peters has managed to get both his arms back between Bristol's legs - danger averted.

Bristol isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Peters stacks Bristol on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Peters!

Peters closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Bristol bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Peters knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bristol on the ground.

Peters is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Bristol is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
