Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Vin Ner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hayden McMillionston! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Winston Howard and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ner dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Ner fails to land with a series of punches.
McMillionston lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ner circles away quickly and effectively. Vin Ner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ner misses with the combination.
Ner ducks down and throws a hook to the body. McMillionston tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. McMillionston takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
McMillionston tries to clinch up but Ner circles away and keeps his distance. Ner thuds a left hand into McMillionston's body. McMillionston doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Ner lands a jab-cross combination. McMillionston looks gassed! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ner with a hook. McMillionston stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ner. Ner changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Ner throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like Hayden McMillionston has been cut. Ner displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Good standup being displayed there by Ner as he connects with a hook.
McMillionston is rocked! McMillionston should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. McMillionston loses concentration momentarily and Ner pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! McMillionston crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Ner finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
