Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Damien Edna and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danglose scores with a takedown into connelly's guard.
Danglose chips away with some ground and pound.
connelly looking to control.
Danglose looking to sit in guard and control but connelly gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
connelly passes Danglose's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
connelly looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
connelly is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Danglose makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Danglose.
Danglose wriggles free and stands up.
connelly shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Danglose manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

connelly wants to control from the top but Danglose keeps moving.
connelly drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and connelly jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Danglose might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Danglose distracts connelly with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Danglose sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed connelly's guard.
connelly wants to improve his position but Danglose is controlling well.
Danglose scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
connelly tries to kick Danglose off but Danglose keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
connelly is not content to let Danglose control the position.
connelly is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Danglose pulls his head out easily.
Danglose seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but connelly does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

connelly is looking for a sweep. Danglose is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

connelly explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

connelly is in all sorts of trouble here.
connelly tries to lock up and control but Danglose gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
connelly is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Kabonyan Danglose overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Danglose controlling the position easily from mount.
Danglose pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Danglose prevents connelly from getting the reversal.
BOOM! Danglose connects with a massive shot to the dome!
connelly swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Danglose tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
connelly wants to hold on but Danglose pushes him away.
Danglose with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Danglose with shots to the head and body - connelly looks very uncomfortable down there.
Danglose is going olschool here, as he tries to force connelly to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so connelly shrugs it off.

connelly defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Danglose's arms.
Danglose is trying to stick to connelly's back but connelly is turning into Danglose. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Danglose's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by connelly.

Danglose is trying to control the position but connelly postures up.
Danglose wants to sweep but no luck.
Danglose manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. connelly manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

and Danglose counters with a three punch combo that has connelly backing up. connelly nods at Danglose to acknowledge the strikes.
Danglose closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

connelly takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
connelly regains half guard.
Danglose prevents connelly from improving his position.

Danglose is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
connelly controls Danglose momentarily but Danglose frees himself.
connelly pushes a forearm under Danglose's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Danglose is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
