The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Jones.
Jones working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Jones tries to move into full mount but can't pass Alexandof's legs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jones is looking to take a break and control but Alexandof is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Alexandof is trying to control Jones's posture but Jones avoids it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jones looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Alexandof is fending him off so far but Jones persists. Nope, Alexandof circles away and we're back to standing.

Jones will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Jones tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Alexandof swivels and escapes.

Alexandof lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Alexandof winds up and cracks Jones with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Alexandof is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Jones is hurt! He's hurt bad - Alexandof fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Jones from any more punishment! Congratulations to Alexandof! Great finish!
