The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Matheus Silva and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Don is looking to land body kicks.
Don jabs Gracie right on the nose. Gracie blinks but takes it well.

Gracie closes this distance looking for a takedown but Don circles away.
Don moves into range and connects with a jab.
The Don seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Don gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Gracie counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Don stalks Gracie and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Gracie's face. Gracie staggers backwards, shaken.

Gracie dodges the punch combination from Don.
Gracie closes this distance looking for a takedown but Don circles away.
Don smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Gracie looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Gracie takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Don misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Don displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gracie.

Don is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round!Gracie had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Don throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Gracie takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Don closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Don tests Gracie's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Gracie shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Don counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Gracie is breathing heavily.

Don lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Gracie moves forwards but Don connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Don jabs Gracie right on the nose. Gracie blinks but takes it well.
Gracie is rocked!
Don lands a brutal uppercut that launches Gracie off his feet! Gracie tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
