Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Danny Harper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Blaise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Danny Harper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ken Blaise! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harper tries to clinch there but Blaise circles away.
Blaise feints and then cracks Harper's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Harper down. Danny Harper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Blaise rushes Harper and presses him up against the cage. Harper tries to circle away but Blaise has him pinned against the cage. Harper is trying to force a seperation but Blaise has the dominant position. Harper works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Blaise is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Harper wants to pass the guard but Blaise is keeping the position. Blaise manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Blaise wants to control the pace but Harper is squirming around nicely. Blaise controlling from the full mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harper keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Blaise can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Harper is looking to escape. Blaise moves to the back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Blaise has the hooks in. Harper is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Harper is working hard here to advance position. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Blaise's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Blaise just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harper controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Harper has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Blaise. Blaise is not going to allow Harper to sit and survive in this position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Blaise tries to get the hooks in deep but Harper pushed the leg off. Harper tries to escape the position.
Blaise wants to control but Harper is keeping busy. Blaise is looking for the choke from the back position but Harper is controlling his hands well. Harper trying to control the position but Blaise manages to sink in the hooks. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Harper wants to get back to his feet. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ken Blaise dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Harper darts in trying to clinch and Blaise counters with an inside leg kick. Harper misses with a hook. Blaise ducked under it nicely. Harper shoots for a double leg takedown but Blaise sprawls well. He's pushed Harper's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Harper is trying hard to land a takedown here. Blaise sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Blaise showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Harper.
Harper is looking to clinch. Harper looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Blaise! Harper cracks Blaise with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Harper thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Harper is in the full mount, landing strikes. Blaise regains half guard. Harper throwing shots but Blaise is blocking nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blaise is looking to improve his position.
Harper is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Blaise wants to control but Harper is keeping busy.
Harper trying to pass the guard but Blaise defending well. Harper is thwarting Blaise's attempts to control the position. Harper wants to pass to mount but Blaise is defending the position. The fighters are battling for position here. Blaise manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Blaise holds on and takes a little breather. Harper wants to stand but Blaise has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Blaise is trying to keep Harper in close.
Harper tries to stand but Blaise is controlling from the bottom. Harper throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Harper missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Harper trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Blaise is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Blaise lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blaise moves in looking to clinch but Harper pushes him off. Harper rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Blaise moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A chopping leg kick lands by Blaise. Blaise tries to close the distance and clinch but Harper swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Blaise wants to clinch up but Harper keeps it at a distance. Harper throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A head kick misses from Blaise. Blaise goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Harper throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Harper looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Harper ducks under a wild hook from Blaise. Danny Harper is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Harper fails to land with a series of punches.
Harper misses with a head kick.
Blaise tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Harper tries to clinch up. Blaise tries a head kick but it misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harper shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Blaise sprawls well. Blaise wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Harper gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Danny Harper. That's going to take a lot out of him. Blaise delivers a nice body kick. Blaise fails with an attempt to clinch.
Blaise ducks under a wild hook from Harper. Blaise chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Blaise slips a jab and a cross from Harper.
Crunch! Blaise slams his shin into Harper's torso. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Blaise fails with an attempt to clinch.

Blaise rushes Harper and presses him up against the cage. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Harper trying to control the position but instead, Blaise has worked for underhooks and has pushed Harper into the cage. A knee to the head by Blaise.

Blaise manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ken Blaise showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Harper is looking to take this fight into the clinch. A cross from Blaise lands. Harper looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Blaise! Harper looking to finish Blaise with some ground and pound. This is bad for Blaise! Blaise keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Harper tries to control but Blaise wriggling away. Blaise is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Harper breaks from Blaise's wrist control and lands an elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harper avoids the attempt from Blaise to control. Blaise is wriggling around trying to escape.
Blaise takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Harper connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Blaise wants to control but Harper is having none of it. Blaise taking shots to the head. Harper lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Blaise really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Harper lands a big elbow. Blaise is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Harper putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harper postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Blaise looks a forlorn figure.

Blaise is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Blaise takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Harper lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Harper tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Harper breaks from Blaise's wrist control and lands an elbow. Harper landing strikes from the mount.
Blaise is rocked! Harper connects with a bit shot that sees Blaise covering up! More strikes from Harper and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Harper is our winner by TKO!
