Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gimpy Tim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Paul Garcia!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Donatello Bradman and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Garcia looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Garcia lands a nice shot to the body.
Garcia swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tim closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Tim fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Garcia sprawls well initially but Tim persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Garcia tries to get to full guard but Tim has control of the leg.
Garcia is refusing to be controlled, as Tim sits in half guard.

Garcia really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tim. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Garcia is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Tim wants to control but Garcia is keeping him busy.

Tim is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Tim shoots in for a takedown but Garcia shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Tim avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Donk. Garcia catches Tim right on the button with a cross.
Tim misses with a takedown attempt - Garcia sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Tim slips a jab and a cross from Garcia.
Garcia misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Garcia! Tim is backing up but he can't get away as Garcia lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Tim and ends the fight. Great knockout.
