The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peters fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Koshcheck fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Koshcheck really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Peters closes this distance looking for a takedown but Koshcheck circles away. Koshcheck will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Koshcheck looks to land a combination but Peters avoids it well. Peters feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Peters gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Koshcheck counters with a solid body kick. Koshcheck scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Koshcheck dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Peters. That did some damage!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Koshcheck lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Peters backs up against the cage.
Koshcheck throws a body kick that misses. Koshcheck throws a right hand that Peters ducks under and follows up with a left that Peters also avoids with ease. Both fighters circling a little - Koshcheck finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Koshcheck plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Koshcheck swinging wilding here.
Peters misses with a takedown attempt and Koshcheck makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Peters really felt that one! Peters wants to clinch but Koshcheck slips to the side and Koshcheck counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Peters!
And that's the end of the fight! Paulo Koshcheck showed his dominance in that final round. Well Koshcheck has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
