Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chris Carnage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vasiliy Lebedenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Chris Carnage! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vasiliy Lebedenko! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Igor Prikhodko and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lebedenko keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Carnage looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Carnage shoots in for a double leg but Lebedenko sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. A combination from Carnage does no damage. Lebedenko dives in and grabs Carnage's left leg, looking for a takedown. Carnage pushes down on Lebedenko's head and hops out. Lebedenko looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Lebedenko working Carnage over with strikes. Lebedenko throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Lebedenko is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lebedenko takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Lebedenko not doing much here.
Lebedenko thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Lebedenko controlling the action here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lebedenko postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Carnage to stand up. Lebedenko gets a takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lebedenko performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Lebedenko working Carnage over with strikes. Lebedenko slows the pace down in half guard.
Despite being in the dominant position, Vasiliy Lebedenko just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Lebedenko closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carnage tries to get to full guard but Lebedenko has control of the leg. Lebedenko controlling the action here. I looks like Lebedenko might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Lebedenko's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Let's hope that Lebedenko has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Carnage wants to control but Lebedenko is keeping busy and won't allow it. Lebedenko sitting and controlling from the half guard. Lebedenko working Carnage over with strikes. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Lebedenko in particular looking to stall. Lebedenko prevents Carnage from improving his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vasiliy Lebedenko dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Lebedenko fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Lebedenko gets a takedown into half guard. Lebedenko is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Lebedenko stalling. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lebedenko lands strikes from half guard.

Lebedenko rushes Carnage and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Lebedenko is trying to drag Carnage to the mat but Carnage just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Lebedenko is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Carnage gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Chris Carnage has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vasiliy Lebedenko. Carnage gets control of Lebedenko's arms and successfully pulls guard. Carnage will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lebedenko not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Lebedenko must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Carnage trying to control the position.
Carnage is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Lebedenko connects with a couple of short punches. Lebedenko sitting in guard here, content to control. Lebedenko stands and steps away. Carnage gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carnage misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Chris Carnage is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Carnage shoots and misses and Lebedenko counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Lebedenko seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Carnage does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Lebedenko is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Lebedenko controlling the pace. Vasiliy Lebedenko has got the better of the ground game so far. Carnage keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Lebedenko lands strikes from half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lebedenko controlling the action here. Carnage wants to control the action here but instead Lebedenko manages to pass to full mount! Carnage working to try and regain half guard.
Lebedenko takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Lebedenko moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Carnage has worked his arm free - good work by Carnage!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vasiliy Lebedenko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Carnage misses with a body kick. Lebedenko shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Carnage being controlled here, momentarily. Lebedenko looking to sit in guard and control but Carnage gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carnage trying to control but Lebedenko is working from the bottom. Lebedenko bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Carnage's guard. Carnage trying to keep a closed guard but Lebedenko is proving a slippery customer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Lebedenko controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Lebedenko trying to control the position from guard on top but Carnage is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lebedenko controlling from the top position. Lebedenko trying to stand up but can't free himself from Carnage's guard. Lebedenko is stalling in the full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Vasiliy Lebedenko comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Lebedenko has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
