Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Julius Adonis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adonis comes to the cage accompanied by Ether. Josh Williams has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Julius Adonis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Josh Williams! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Sergei Dronov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams throws a wild body kick that Adonis sees coming a mile off. Adonis displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Williams throws out the jab. Adonis misses with a two punch combination.
Adonis avoids a kick to the body.
Williams lands with a nice body punch. Adonis blocks the body kick.
Adonis tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Williams swivels and escapes. Williams throws a low kick, looking for Adonis's leg but Adonis calmly moves out of range. Nice uppercut there from Adonis. Williams looks for the body kick but Adonis saw that one coming. Williams fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Adonis is out of range. Adonis fails with the takedown. Williams misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Williams misses with a double jab
and Adonis counters with a nice double leg into side control. Williams won't be happy with that. Adonis is trying to get an arm triangle but Williams is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams is looking for a sweep. Adonis tries to move to mount but Williams blocks the move with his legs. Williams sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Adonis is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Williams stops Adonis from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Williams blocking the ground and pound. Williams working to try and regain half guard.
Adonis has control of Williams's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Williams regains control of the situation pretty easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Adonis goes for an armbar but Williams turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Williams. Adonis is breathing heavily. Williams controlling from the top position. Williams must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Williams decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. A thudding body kick lands there by Williams!
Good leg kick by Williams there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Williams.
Williams goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Josh Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Williams pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Good leg kick by Williams there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Adonis on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Williams. Williams obviously looking to wear him down.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Williams misses with an attempted mid kick.
Williams pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Williams lands a big head kick that sends Adonis tumbling to the mat! Williams takes a step backwards and waves Adonis back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Julius Adonis has been cut. Nice body kick there by Williams. Williams looks to throw the jab but Adonis is out of range. Adonis fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Julius Adonis. That's going to take a lot out of him. Adonis showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Williams.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Williams works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Adonis is rocked! A head kick by Williams - that's a beauty! Adonis is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Williams can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
