Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Evan Gauge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and KING KONG (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Evan Gauge has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Evan Gauge! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, KING KONG! The judges for this bout are , and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gauge gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as KONG accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Gauge keeping full guard, as KONG tries to pass. KONG is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. KONG should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Gauge working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from KONG. KONG postures up in Gauge's guard and throws a big left but Gauge blocks it. KONG trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Gauge manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! KONG keeping moving, preventing Gauge from controlling successfully. Gauge will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Gauge trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Gauge shoots and misses and KONG counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. KONG not landing any meaningful shots this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. KONG wants to work for an arm triangle but Gauge is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

KONG is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Gauge is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Gauge has escaped and now he's on top! KONG wants to get back to his feet but Gauge is in a dominant position and won't allow it. KONG looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gauge would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. KONG can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Gauge controls the pace. Gauge lands a couple of elbows. Gauge lands a couple of elbows. KONG is working an open guard so Gauge takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. KONG fails to land the takedown. Gauge tries for a takedown but KONG circles away easily and KONG counters with a single leg into guard. Gauge didn't expect that. This has been an exciting period of action! KONG is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Gauge is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Gauge has escaped and now he's on top! KONG wants to sweep but no luck.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gauge looking to sit in guard and control but KONG gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Gauge wants to get back to his feet but KONG is in a dominant position and won't allow it. KONG is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. KONG wants to stand but Gauge has a closed guard, so he can't escape. KONG wants to control from the top but Gauge keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. KONG trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. KONG gets a takedown into half guard. Gauge wants to get back to his feet.
KONG is trying to control. Gauge wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
KING KONG dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
KONG wants to clinch up but Gauge keeps it at a distance. Gauge avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Gauge fails with the takedown and KONG counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Gauge's guard now. KONG has gone for a leg lock! Gauge slips out almost immediately though and dives into KONG's guard. Gauge scores with a decent looking elbow strike. KONG avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. KONG manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. KONG breaks from Gauge's wrist control and lands an elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. KONG with a couple of short strikes. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - KONG has eaten all the pies! KONG is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Gauge is surviving well by controlling KONG's body position as best he can. KONG trying to control but he's not successful this time. KONG lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Gauge's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. KONG throwing strikes here but Gauge is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
KONG wants to finish this one by submission but Gauge is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from KONG.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Gauge is in all sorts of trouble here.
KONG tries to control but Gauge wriggling away. KONG throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. KONG with the ground and pound from mount. KONG looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Gauge is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. KONG wants to control the pace but Gauge is squirming around nicely. KONG landing shots from mount. KONG looking to secure an arm triangle but Gauge defends it well. KONG get's back to his feet. Gauge gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and KONG counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. KONG is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gauge is just riding it out for now. KONG eventually gives up the hold. KONG is looking for a kimura but Gauge is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for KONG to get the leverage. Gauge is not content to let KONG control the position. KONG is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
KONG not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
KING KONG showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Gauge's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Gauge forces KONG back against the cage and clinches. KONG tries to pull guard but Gauge holds him up against the cage and eventually KONG drops back down to his feet.

An uppercut to the body lands inside from Gauge. Gauge pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Gauge throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Gauge stands and steps away. KONG gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. A chopping leg kick lands by Gauge. Gauge throws a head kick but KONG moves out of range.
KONG closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. KONG has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. KONG looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Gauge is avoiding damage well.

That's two minutes gone in the round. KONG tries to score with some ground and pound. Gauge controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. KONG wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gauge keeps working. KONG tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Gauge is looking to work his way out of this bad position but KONG is controlling him well. KONG landing strikes. KONG is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gauge is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. KONG throwing strikes but Gauge manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Gauge scoring with punches and elbows. KONG is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Gauge's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Gauge wants to stand up but KONG is controlling the position.

Gauge has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Gauge advances to half guard. KONG trying to control from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gauge prevents KONG from improving his position. Gauge seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Evan Gauge has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! KONG trying to control from the bottom.
Gauge escapes and gets back to his feet. KONG fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gauge, pushing him back against the cage. Gauge escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

KONG trying to control the position from guard on top but Gauge is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. KING KONG is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that's the end of the fight! KING KONG comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got KONG winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
