The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown tests jones's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from jones is defended easily by Brown.
jones on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Brown turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
jones looks gassed!
jones takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like mike jones has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

jones bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Brown gets back to half guard.
Brown is holding on to half guard well.

Brown regains full guard. Nicely done.
Brown seems keen to control jones's posture.
Brown's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

jones is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Brown is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Brown has escaped and now he's on top!
jones has a closed guard, preventing Brown from standing up.

jones is working an open guard so Brown takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
jones takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Brown changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Brown keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - jones has eaten all the pies!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Brown lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
jones on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Brown. Brown obviously looking to wear him down.

Brown lands a big head kick that sends jones tumbling to the mat! Brown takes a step backwards and waves jones back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Brown throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! jones crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
