The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guaridaurdo tries to bum rush Benton with a series of wild strikes but Benton uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Benton tries to clinch but Guaridaurdo moves out of range.
Benton tries to clinch but Guaridaurdo is having none of it.
Benton fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Guaridaurdo throws a right and a left that both miss.
Guaridaurdo misses with a wild combination.
Benton swinging wilding here.
Benton tries to clinch up but Guaridaurdo circles away and keeps his distance.
Guaridaurdo swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Benton counters with a three punch combo that has Guaridaurdo backing up. Guaridaurdo nods at Benton to acknowledge the strikes.
Benton smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Guaridaurdo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Benton.

and Benton counters with a crisp one two that drops Guaridaurdo! Benton thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Guaridaurdo to his feet! Guaridaurdo is in big trouble!
Guaridaurdo is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Benton connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Guaridaurdo to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Benton!
