Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryan Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, brendan kabot!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
kabot misses with a jab, cross combination.

kabot gets caught flat footed, as Anderson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Anderson is looking to work some ground and pound but kabot has wrist control.

kabot escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Anderson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Anderson connects with a nice short shot to kabot's temple.

Ryan Anderson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Anderson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming kabot to the mat! kabot manages to get full guard.
Anderson throws and elbow that misses. kabot uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Anderson's guard. Nice move by kabot!

kabot utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Anderson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Anderson cracks kabot with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Anderson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
