Daniel comes to the cage accompanied by Red Hot Chili Peppers - Don't Forget Me. Shibata has chosen The American National Anthem as his entrance music. Riley Daniel has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniel closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Shibata tries to buck Daniel off but Daniel is having none of it.
Shibata is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Shibata can do anything to dispel that myth.
