Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Rotch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Velazquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rotch comes to the ring accompanied by Why Cant we be Friends-War. Velazquez has chosen Numb/Encore-Jay Z+Linkin Park as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Rotch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Antonio Velazquez! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Velazquez shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Velazquez shoots in for a takedown but Rotch shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Velazquez fails to land the takedown. Mike Rotch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Antonio Velazquez. Velazquez fails to land the takedown. Rotch stuffs the takedown attempt from Velazquez. Velazquez gets slowly back to his feet. Velazquez shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rotch as he avoids it easily. Rotch leaves Velazquez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Velazquez fails with a takedown attempt. No luck with that takedown attempt from Velazquez. Velazquez looks gassed! Horrible takedown by Velazquez or perhaps it was just good defense by Rotch which made him look bad.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rotch ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Mike Rotch is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Velazquez shoots in for a double leg but Rotch sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Velazquez. Velazquez shoots in looking for a takedown. Rotch tries to sprawl out of it but Velazquez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Rotch manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Rotch lands a jab to Velazquez's midsection. Antonio Velazquez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rotch lands a body shot.
Rotch tests Velazquez's chin there with a solid looking shot. Rotch scores with a shot to the body.
Rotch looks to land a combination. Velazquez sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Antonio Velazquez has been cut. Rotch takes the fight into the clinch. Rotch has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Velazquez uses from the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Velazquez avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rotch has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Velazquez can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Rotch throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Velazquez with a flurry of punches that miss. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Velazquez stands up over Rotch, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Rotch is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Velazquez rolls with it to try and escape but Rotch cranks on the arm and Velazquez is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
