Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Hoppus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven DeNomee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoppus's entrance music is Not Now. A fine choice. DeNomee has chosen XXL as his entrance music. Steven DeNomee has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Mark Hoppus's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Hoppus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steven DeNomee! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hoppus slips a jab and a cross from DeNomee.
DeNomee shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hoppus but Hoppus pushes him off and we're back to square one. Hoppus fails in his attempt to clinch. DeNomee fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hoppus sprawls well initially but DeNomee persists and gets the takedown into half guard. DeNomee stops Hoppus from getting back to his feet.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! DeNomee lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Hoppus really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Hoppus is trying to stand up here but DeNomee is controlling him well. DeNomee looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hoppus with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. DeNomee is working for a submission of some sort.
Hoppus on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Hoppus has one foot on DeNomee's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. DeNomee takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
It looks like Steven DeNomee has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! DeNomee swats away the attempt to clinch by Hoppus. DeNomee misses with a kick to the body.
DeNomee feints and as Hoppus raises his hands in defense, DeNomee changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Hoppus is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. DeNomee working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. DeNomee is working Hoppus over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Hoppus is rocked! DeNomee postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Hoppus covers up, he's hurt! DeNomee keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from DeNomee and the ref steps in to end the fight! DeNomee can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Steven DeNomee!
