Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between gearge jone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Quinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quinn has chosen Break Stuff as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, gearge jone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Peter Quinn!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
jone is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
jone throws a right hand that Quinn ducks under and follows up with a left that Quinn also avoids with ease.
gearge jone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Quinn throws a sloppy head kick and jone moves out of range easily.
jone tries to clinch but Quinn moves out of range.
jone pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Quinn fails with an attempt to clinch.

and Quinn counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Quinn decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on jone, up you get!

and Quinn counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps jone thinking.
jone is breathing heavily.
jone keeps the fight on the outside.
Quinn chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before jone can pounce on him.

and Quinn counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Quinn accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Quinn crunches a lovely knee into jone's ribcage.
Quinn is looking to break free of the clinch but jone has double underhooks.

Quinn keeps jone at a distance using the push kick.
A chopping leg kick lands by Quinn.
A combination from jone does no damage.
Quinn dodges the punch combination from jone.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Quinn.

Quinn tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Quinn has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Quinn lands a nice forearm strike.

Quinn stands up.
A punch combination from jone misses.

Quinn scores with a head kick.
Quinn moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Quinn, right into the meat.
jone throws a sloppy head kick
and Quinn counters with a low kick, right behind jone 's knee.

Quinn shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. jone is trying to defend but Quinn finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Quinn stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Quinn clinches up against the cage.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
You can see the frustration on jone's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

jone tries to bench press Quinn off him but Quinn keeps the position.
jone wants to get back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Quinn decides to take the fight back to the feet.
jone misses with a double jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Peter Quinn dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

jone fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Quinn feints and then cracks jone's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow jone down.
gearge jone is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
jone has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Quinn throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent jone stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Quinn scoring well with a low kick there.
Quinn wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

jone is trying to escape the position but Quinn is controlling the position.
jone takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Quinn decides to stand back up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Quinn lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Crunch! Quinn slams his shin into jone's torso.
Quinn tries to clinch up but jone circles away and keeps his distance.

Quinn shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Quinn is landing with some decent strikes but jone is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Quinn cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

jone tries to reverse the position but Quinn maintains control.

Quinn has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

I would just about give that final round to Peter Quinn.
Well Quinn has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
