Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between William Sanders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanders comes into the arena with Last Resort by Papa Roach blaring out of the sound system. Hill has chosen Darude - Sandstorm as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, William Sanders! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dan Hill! The judges for this bout are , and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanders misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hill slaps away a takedown attempt from Sanders, before circling back to the center of the mat. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sanders. Hill gets the takedown into side control. Sanders gets back to half guard. Sanders is trying to maintain the position but Hill is very close to passing his half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Sanders really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Sanders moves into full guard.
Hill really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sanders. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Sanders has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hill can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Hill pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sanders is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanders bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hill's guard. Hill is controlling Sanders's posture. Sanders stops Hill from standing up. Sanders is looking to stand up but Hill won't let him. Sanders wants to control from the top but Hill keeps moving. Hill is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Hill effectively controlling the action here. Hill manages to pull guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Sanders trying to control but Hill is working from the bottom. Hill wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Hill lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Sanders! Hill punishing his opponent with strikes. Hill looking to control but Sanders is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Hill takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Sanders tries to lock up and control but Hill gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Let's hope that Hill has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Sanders wants to control but Hill is having none of it. The referee warns Sanders that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Hill tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Sanders can't escape the position.
Hill is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Sanders can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Hill drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Hill wants to stand but Sanders has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Sanders is trying to keep Hill in close.
Hill is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Hill wants to control from the top but Sanders keeps moving. Hill stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sanders swivels though and keeps the full guard. Hill gets to his feet - Sanders follows without any prompting. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hill closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hill lands in his opponent's guard. Sanders can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hill controls the pace. Sanders is trying to hold Hill in close to prevent damage but Hill has managed to pass into half guard.
Still in half guard, Hill seems content to control. Hill looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Hill seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sanders is trying to get back to full guard. Hill is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Hill is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sanders defends it well. Sanders wants to control but Hill is keeping busy and won't allow it. Sanders is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Hill changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sanders looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hill stands up and we're back to a striking position. Hill rushes Sanders and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Hill slows down the pace here.

Hill continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up. Hill is trying to drag Sanders to the mat but Sanders just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hill gets control of Sanders's arms and successfully pulls guard. Hill will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Hill is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Hill tries to land a sweep but no joy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hill escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sanders gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Hill looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Dan Hill showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

He's obviously looking to slow Sanders down. Hill moves into range and clinches up with Sanders. Sanders decides to pull guard. Sanders keeping moving, preventing Hill from controlling successfully. Hill stands up from Sanders's guard - Hill perhaps looking for a knockout. Hill wants to clinch. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Sanders moves in looking to clinch but Hill pushes him off.

Sanders gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Hill counters by moving into the clinch. Hill has Sanders pushed against the cage. Hill breaks the clinch.
Hill shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Hill stays in close to Sanders's body and controls the position. Sanders keeping full guard, as Hill tries to pass.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hill postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Hill would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Hill stopping the sweep attempt from Sanders. Sanders is trying to keep Hill in close.
Hill slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Dan Hill has got the better of the ground game so far. Hill stands up and waves to Sanders to follow him.

Sanders drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hill gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Hill stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sanders swivels though and keeps the full guard. Sanders has a closed guard, preventing Hill from standing up. Hill is in close to Sanders's body, working some short punches and elbows. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sanders being controlled here, momentarily. Hill slips nicely into half guard. Dan Hill is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Sanders won't allow Hill to pass to mount. Sanders is looking to improve his position.

And that's the end of the fight! Dan Hill comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Hill has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
